I am very tired of the skinny jean trend (I own a few but like having options...) and at 5'9" with a long torso, 'high-waisted' is usually normal waist on me, on top of finding an inseam that is long enough, and a cut that is not too flared. So was pretty excited to find these. They actually work, but they definitely run large. I normally wear a 10 - 12 depending on the brand. 12 was definitely too big, 10 was questionable, and then ordered an 8 - which by far ended up being the right choice after they fit to me/stretched out. I almost kept the 10s because of what they felt like when I tried them on and wore them around for a bit, 8s felt way too small in the waist, but have now stretched to what the 10s felt like! The waist has a stretchy part in it that I think helps with the fit.
